Chung Cheng High School (Main) School Buildings and Environment

Chung Cheng is renowned for our Chung Cheng Lake (中正湖). The size of Chung Cheng Lake has been reduced by about two-thirds since 1950 due to several school expansion programmes. From the 1950s till present, Chung Cheng Lake has reduced  from 14000m square to the current size of 4666.7m square (estimated). Chung Cheng had to shrink it as there was a large increase in the number of pupils and hence they needed more space for classroom buildings which is currently called 琢璞楼.
The Chung Cheng Lake has many turtles and fishes. With this lake, it makes it feel that Chung Cheng        has a conducive environment to study in. Rumors said that the lake actually came about when the Japanese dropped a bomb and created a crater.
